Get Involved with the Miss Rodeo America Organization
The Miss Rodeo America organization offers various opportunities to become involved with us in our dedicated efforts to promote the sport of professional rodeo and the western way of life. The Miss Rodeo Membership group includes General Memberships open to anyone, Rodeo Royalty Memberships, Junior Memberships, Alumni Memberships open to all current and former MRA pageant contestants, and a special Ambassador Club that is open to those wishing VIP courtesies at the pageant and other MRA events as well as additional exposure as a support of Miss Rodeo America and professional rodeo.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for Miss Rodeo America to represent your business as she travels for appearances and interviews throughout the year on behalf of the sport of rodeo and her sponsors — an ideal way to promote and expand awareness of your company and products or services.
Scholarship Foundation. The Miss Rodeo America program provides one of the most visible media spokespersons for the sport of professional rodeo, and the non-profit Miss Rodeo America Scholarship Foundation is a vital part of helping our talented and deserving young women further their studies and to become effective leaders and influencial members in their communities, protecting and preserving our Western Heritage and lifestyle. Your help is most appreciated.
Compete for the Crown! The Miss Rodeo America organization works with state organizations to select a rodeo queen to represent her state and carry her state title to the national pageant to compete for the title of Miss Rodeo America. The Miss Rodeo America website also maintains a list of upcoming queen clinics where young ladies can learn the art and craft of competing in the various rodeo queen pageant events.
Become a Member and Volunteer
The Miss Rodeo America Organization is made up of more than 100 volunteers who believe in the value of the program and who wish to see the pageant experience continue to grow and improve for future contestants. Aside from the Executive Director and an Office Manager, the planning and execution of the pageant and other organizational activities is done solely by passionate volunteers. Former contestants and Miss Rodeo America titleholders play a vital role in this process.
Pageant events are conducted by these dedicated volunteers as they plan, execute and communicate with their respective committees. All members interested in serving at the national pageant are welcome to contact the office about joining committees. A special group has been formed called the National Advisory Council. General members can apply to be considered for the National Advisory Council. Contact the MRA office for an application. The National Advisory Council is limited to 50 members that are approved yearly by the MRAI Executive Board.
National Directors serve as the liason between the state and the Miss Rodeo America Business Office. They help guide their state titleholder with scheduling appearances, preparing for the MRA Pageant and much more.
Take a look at the state organizations page and contact your National Director if you are interested in helping at the state level. If your state doesn't have a director and you are interesting in developing a pageant, please contact the MRA Office.
